Manage and strengthen district-wide Oral Health administration services, leading teams, improving systems and delivering patient-focused outcomes across WSLHD.

Located at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, this flagship facility delivers general and specialist dental services to communities across NSW and is a key teaching site for the University of Sydney. What you'll be doing
In this senior operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and coordinate high-quality administrative services supporting Oral Health across WSLHD, ensuring efficient, compliant and patient-centred service delivery.
* Lead and manage a district-wide administration workforce, including team leaders and administration officers
* Ensure compliance with NSW Health policies, legislative requirements and data governance standards
* Oversee patient administration, waitlist management, reception services and non-admitted activity reporting
* Drive revenue capture processes, including Medicare billing and Activity Based Funding (ABF) requirements
* Lead workforce management, quality improvement initiatives, change management and operational projects

Demonstrated experience leading and managing administration services within a healthcare or similarly complex, multi-site service environment.
* Proven ability to effectively supervise, develop, and support staff, including performance management, recruitment, rostering, and workforce capability development.
* Comprehensive knowledge of patient administration systems, revenue management processes (including Medicare billing), and outpatient activity reporting requirements within a public health setting.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within specified timeframes.
* High-level interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing correspondence, reports, work instructions, and conducting meetings.
* Proven ability to implement quality improvement initiatives, develop and review operational procedures, and contribute to policy development consistent with NSW Health and LHD governance frameworks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with electronic patient administration and rostering systems.
