Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Accounts Payable team in the delivery of day‐to‐day activities.
* Ensure accounts are paid in a timely and accurate manner and complete payment runs.
* Ensure all invoice and statement reconciliations are completed in accordance with agreed business processes.
* Provide superior and responsive customer service to key stakeholders.
* Prepare, review, and distribute month‐end reporting and support the interpretation of these reports as necessary.
* Oversee and manage the identification, planning and implementation of process and system improvements.
* Lead the ongoing development of individual and team capability through development activities.
* Deliver formal training initiatives in consultation with the People & Culture department.
* During the transformation period, manage a small Accounts Payable officer portfolio allowing the Senior Accounts Payable Officer to act as the SME on the project.
* Manage Accounts Payable team involvement in User Acceptance Testing and system deployment.
* Work with suppliers to transition to Coupa e‐invoicing.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role.
* Demonstrated functional leadership experience with facilitation and team‐building skills.
* Advanced English literacy and numeracy.
* Coupa experience is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in development, training and performance management of a team.
* Demonstrated experience in supplier management and major supplier reconciliations.
* Epicor and DocStar experience highly regarded.
