Key Responsibilities
* Ensure personnel safety through the consistent application of HSE policies and procedures
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
* Deliver effective HSE training sessions and site inductions
* Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and oversee corrective actions
* Foster a positive and proactive safety culture among project teams and subcontractors
* Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting systems
* Liaise with stakeholders across all levels to champion safety initiatives

* Roster: 2:1 FIFO/DIDO (Flights provided from major capital cities)

Essential Requirements
* Legal right to work in Australia
* Cert IV or tertiary qualifications in WHS
* Civil construction or mining experience
* Strong understanding of WHS legislation & industry practices
* Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and manage safety functions proactively
* Current driver's licence
Desirable Attributes
* Experience in bulk earthworks or major civil construction
* Incident investigation and risk management expertise
* Ability to thrive in remote and challenging environments
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
