We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused person to join our team at Solar Dimension as a Tech Support & Customer Service Assistant.
This full-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys technology and data but also values structure, organisation, and seeing a task through from start to finish. Combining customer service with data, systems, and process improvement.
About the Role
You’ll join our Post-Installation Support Team, working closely with our existing specialist to ensure every customer continues to have a great experience long after their system is installed.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Monitoring solar and battery system performance through apps and data portals
Troubleshooting and resolving system or connectivity issues
Providing exceptional customer service — clear communication, updates, and follow-ups
Analysing performance data and identifying trends or system irregularities
Managing administrative tasks — data entry, note-taking, ticket tracking, and documentation
Supporting internal teams with post-install information and assessments
This role blends technical insight with strong administration and customer communication skills — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll be someone who:
Has exceptional attention to detail and follows tasks through to completion
Is analytical and enjoys problem-solving. Can think outside the box and look for smarter, efficient solutions
Delivers excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism
Is a confident communicator — both verbal and written
Is proactive and takes ownership of their tasks
Isn’t afraid to ask for help or collaborate when needed, leaves no stone unturned when investigating issues.
Can set clear expectations with customers and always do as you say
Experience in solar, electrical, or trade environments is highly regarded but not essential — the right person with the right mindset and willingness to learn will be fully trained.
