About the role
We are looking for team members who are seeking a leadership career in the QSR industry and want to progress to an Assistant Manager role in 6 months. You will need 1+ years experience in Subway or another National QSR chain and want to progress to a management role. In the first 6 months you will be trained and guided by our senior management team, and if successful moved into an Assistant manager role at one of our Gold Coast store locations. Initially you will be employed on a flexible part‑time basis with paid annual and personal leave and above award pay. We offer flexible schedule to suit your lifestyle and skills. As your skills improve you can work across our 3 stores if you are seeking increased hours. After 6 months, and if you are ready for a leadership role, a full‑time role will be available if that suits your lifestyle.
The minimum requirement for this part‑time role is 25-30 hours per week.

What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional customer service
- Preparing and assembling made‑to‑order Subway sandwiches and salads
- Maintaining a clean and well‑organised work environment
- Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Following all health, safety, and food handling procedures
- Providing support to the Subway team as needed
What we're looking for
- One or more years experience at Subway or another National QSR chain
- Experience from various QSR chains assessed individually to ensure suitability for this role
- Equivalent experience from McDonald’s, KFC, Hungry Jack’s, Domino’s, Red Rooster, or Grill’d will be considered
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Minimum age requirement of 18+ years for this position
