About the position
The position is located in the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre within the School of Allied Health, Human Services and Sport. The research focus of the Centre is to increase sport and exercise medicine knowledge through excellent collaborative research and translate knowledge to policy, practice, participation, health and wellbeing.
Skills and Experience
* Completion of a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline, and evidence of participation in higher level study relevant to discipline or professional area.
* Evidence of experience in research and evaluation and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision or independently.
* A record of contribution to publications, conference papers and/or reports, or professional or technical contributions which provide evidence of research potential.
* Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
* Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in a cooperative and collegial manner.
* Experience and/or skills in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods and analysis
* Experience and/or skills in creating multimedia resources (PowerPoint, infographics)
* Experience and/or skills related to injury prevention and/or management in team sports
* Experience in the elite and community sporting contexts
