Bennett + Bennett is seeking a motivated Senior Surveyor to step into a Team Leader role within our Surveying team, based in Toowoomba. If you enjoy a mix of technical work and supporting others, this is a great opportunity to build your leadership skills in a supportive and well-established team.
Your Role and Impact
* Manage project resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and internal business units to ensure seamless integration of processes, technologies, and training.
* Coordinate Toowoomba-based staff operating across the region and support the remote management of staff delivering projects in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and broader FIFO operations.
* Oversee workforce rostering, travel arrangements, and logistical planning for employees working on major project sites.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to survey staff to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in project delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear, consistent communication.
* Manage the preparation of detailed job instructions and project requirements to support effective field and office operations.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Surveying; registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (or another state) highly regarded.
* 10+ years' experience in a range of surveying activities within the Surveying Industry.
* Proficient with range of surveying equipment, sound understanding of methodologies concerning surveying and competency in a range of surveying software packages.
* Knowledge of Machine Control Systems and model generation is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
