**The Business**
Global Insurance firm, with a strong market presence, are seeking the expertise of an HR Advisor / HR Business Partner for an 8 month fixed term contract. This role has opportunity to extend past this date, pending company requirements.
Part of a global business, but a cohesive local P&C; team - this role will give you great exposure to international business practices and has a diverse set of responsibilities.
This business offer hybrid and flexible working conditions. Ideally you can work in the office 3 days a week, the other two from home.
This HR Advisor / HR BP role is the lead contact for the leadership team and employees within two client groups (approx. 130 ppl), ensuring the timely delivery of a range of HR services, advice, and expertise.
**Typical day to day includes;** 
- Coaching and mentoring to the leadership team, managers and employees on all HR employment practices and policies 
- Working closely with the leadership teams to drive delivery of the People Strategy 
- Supporting initiatives designed to increase engagement and morale 
- Working closely with the HRBP - resourcing on recruitment needs for allocated client groups and conducting interviews as required 
- Working with leaders to ensure annual performance and compensation review cycle deadlines are met. 
- Coach managers with performance issues and structuring employee performance improvement plans 
- Preparing quarterly and annual reports as required
**You'll ideally have;**
A relevant qualification in HR or related field
Previous experience in an HR Advisory capacity
Knowledge of Australian employment legislation
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, ability to analyse data and identify trends
Ideally you will be available on short notice.
