The Emergency Department Assistant role is an opportunity to support a variety of tasks and aid patients in the ED.

Responsibilities include patient transport, assistance in resuscitation bays, and support for vulnerable patients.


Key Responsibilities

* Patient Transport: Assist with moving patients within the ED to ensure efficient care.
* Resuscitation Bay Support: Provide assistance in emergency situations to help save lives.
* Vulnerable Patient Support: Offer additional support to patients who require extra care.

To be successful in this role, you will need:


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Certificate III in Health Service Assistant or equivalent.
* Demonstrated flexibility in performing multiple tasks.
* Demonstrated empathy and proactive approach to delivering high-quality patient care.
