About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Trainer/Assessor to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to students. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or vocational competencies at least to the level of the qualifications delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering dynamic lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions that foster an inclusive environment for active student participation, critical thinking, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progression.
2. Coordinating simulations and placements, conducting supervision, and guiding students in applying theoretical knowledge to practical industry settings.
3. Implementing fair assessment strategies, monitoring and evaluating educational programs, and providing recommendations for ongoing improvement.
4. Engaging in professional development to enhance teaching and industry skills.
5. Collaborating effectively with educators, students, and external partners to ensure a smooth learning experience.
6. Working with the curriculum development team to create learning resources, assessments, and other materials to support high-quality education.
The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and demonstrate evidence of recent VET and industry professional development activities. They will also have a strong understanding of ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards.
