See what support really feels like
The Facility Manager role is broken. Our client decided to fix it.
There is a strong sentiment that the modern RAC Facility Manager is set up to fail.
You’re expected to be a clinical expert, a financial guru, a master logistician, and a compassionate leader all at once.
The industry talks about burnout and compassion fatigue as inevitable, a cost of doing business.
Our client respectfully disagrees. They believe burnout isn’t a personal failing but rather, it’s a design flaw in the system.
Our client’s foundation was built on a long-lasting legacy of service, where the principles of dignity and respect are the non-negotiable core of every decision.
When they saw the impossible pressure placed on their leaders, they didn’t offer a wellness app.
They redesigned the role from the ground up.
Welcome to Leadership, Supported.
As a Facility Manager here, you are not a lone operator. You are the leader of a dedicated trifecta:
You, the RAC FM, driving the culture and overall vision.
Your Clinical Nurse Manager, upholding the highest standards of clinical care.
Your Deputy Facility Manager, a dedicated professional responsible for rostering, finance, supplies, and logistics.
This model is a strategic investment designed to liberate you from the administrative burden that crushes so many good leaders, freeing you to focus on what no one else can:
Coaching your team
Connecting with residents
Creating a community.
This is a culture of authentic, lived values.
It’s a company so committed to person-centred care that residents sit on interview panels, helping to select the very nurses and carers who will join their home.
Your Mission:
Lead a Thriving Team: You will guide the leadership trifecta, fostering a collaborative environment where each member operates at their best. Your primary goal is to create a culture of stability and support, ensuring your team can switch off, recharge, and bring their best selves to work every day.
Champion a New Standard of Care: You will move beyond mere compliance. You will empower initiatives that give residents a real voice, ensuring the principles of dignity and respect are woven into every process, from recruitment to daily life.
Be the Guardian of ‘Home’: You will ensure this facility is more than a building; it is a true home. A place where residents feel safe, heard, and connected, and where staff are proud to work.
We are looking for a leader with a clinical background (current AHPRA registration is essential), significant residential aged care management experience and full working rights in Australia.
But more than that, we’re looking for someone who is tired of the old way.
Someone who believes that a supported leader is the foundation of exceptional care.
If you’re a leader who wants to stop managing a broken system and start leading a better one, we need to talk.
