This position is based on a project site locatedin Gladstone, Queensland.7 days on;7 days offImmediate startFIFO from Brisbane or localThis position will provide effective engineering support to the project team to achieve completion of contracted works in accordance with project and client requirements.
This role will be responsible to coordinate project programming, reporting and controls within timeframes, ensuring a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.To be successful you will have:Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or relevant experienceStrong knowledge of civil construction standards, legislation, and associated practicesExperience in reinforced concrete structuresExperience in project management and implementing client programsAble to liaise, mediate and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholdersExpertise in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedulesExperience in developing and implementing quality programs and controlsExpertise in communication, including developing project documents and reportsExperienced in MS Office and P6/Project Management Systems (beginner to intermediate)About you:Critical analysis and problem-solving skillsUse of confidentiality, and discretion when dealing with peopleAble to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholdersSelf-motivated in the completion of tasksAble to manage time effectively, using strong organisational skillsCapable of accurate, detailed workLead by example, acting ethically and with integrityTreat all people with respectDesire to work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goalsActively comply with legislation and related policies, procedures, and processesPerform tasks only when competent to do so under the circumstancesCommunicate effectively and maintain a positive imageJoin the McCosker teamAt McCosker we are focused on developing our workforce, giving back to the community and safeguarding our natural setting.
