This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced road construction environment. The role of Site Project Engineer will involve working closely with the Contract Management Team to ensure that works are completed to approved scope, budget, time and quality.
Responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of contract documentation, tendering and performing the role of Site Engineer. This will involve working on-site to inspect construction activities, ensuring that work is being done according to drawings and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of relevant experience in road construction and management of contractors, with previous experience in contract administration under AS 2124 or similar conditions. They will also have direct involvement experience in project development and/or delivery within a roadworks environment.
Key qualifications and skills required for this position include a Civil Engineering degree, hands-on experience in road construction, basic Work site traffic management and White card certification. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of preparing contact documents and tender processes, as well as quality assurance and contract management processes.
