As a senior retail professional, you will lead a team in store operations to ensure seamless execution. Your role involves maximizing sales opportunities through effective team coaching and development, maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards, and leading store safety initiatives.
 * Lead, coach and develop a small team of retail professionals.
 * Provide high levels of customer service, assist with product selection and technical advice.
 * Build strong relationships with customers through proactive engagement.
 * Tint and prepare paint products according to customer specifications.
 * Maintain accurate stock control and manage inventory effectively.
 * Serve as the escalation point for customer inquiries.
 * Process POS transactions efficiently and accurately.
 * Make deliveries to trade customers using company vehicles.
 * Assist with in-store displays, presentation and merchandising initiatives.
 * Grow trade, industrial and retail business segments.
 * Drive a safety-first approach within the store environment.
Requirements
 * Leadership skills complemented by experience in coaching, developing and mentoring teams.
 * Previous experience working as a second-in-command in a customer-facing role in retail or sales.
 * Strong people and customer engagement skills.
 * A genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
 * Knowledge of Point of Sale systems or similar technologies.
 * Experience in handling stock and merchandise management.
 * Effective time management and planning capabilities.
 * Ability to handle work-related pressures and adapt to changing circumstances.
 * Autonomy to follow established processes or make meaningful improvements.
 * An unrestricted driver's license and capacity to perform manual tasks safely.
