About the role
* Maintenance of and repairs to all vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
* Day/afternoon (no night shift) seven-day roster with shift allowances, opportunities for overtime and RDO every roster period. We're open 6am to 11pm. 365 days a year.Shifts, 6AM -2.30PM. 10.30AM -7PM, 2-10PM.
* This position is required to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Minimum two weekend days a month.

Role Requirements:
* Minimum two years' experience as a qualified tradesperson.
* Demonstrated front line management experience or equivalent.
* Motor Vehicle /Heavy Vehicle Inspector/Examiner desirable
* Understanding of the transport industry including its regulatory and operational standards and requirements.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to supervise and develop staff and introduce and implement operational reform.
* Motor Vehicle Repair Tradespersons License (Motor Mechanic)
* Heavy vehicle and systems experience desired but not essential, in-house training and support provided
* MR or HR drivers license (Don't have one? We will help you upgrade your license)
* Prior experience with pneumatics suspension/breaking is desirable
