About the role
Step into a rewarding position as a Paediatric Registered Nurse on J2A, our specialised 12-bed adolescent ward dedicated to providing holistic, family-centred care for patients aged 1318 years. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering expert surgical and medical care, while also supporting young people with complex mental health needs, including those in our specialised Eating Disorders program. You will benefit from a comprehensive supernumerary orientation, ongoing access to specialised paediatric training, and dedicated support from experienced Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs) and Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs).

John Hunter Children's Hospital (JHCH), a leading tertiary-level facility in Newcastle, NSW, providing medical, surgical, trauma, and neonatal paediatric care. The area offers an appealing lifestyle with access to beaches, lakes, and bushland.
Requirements
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with AHPRA
* Passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals committed to delivering high-quality patient care
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
* Strong team players with a patient-centred approach to nursing
