Commercial Analyst – Project Construction Delivery (Renewables)
Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
Salary : $150,000 base + Super + Benefits

We are working with a market leader in the renewable energy sector to deliver cutting‑edge projects that plug directly into critical energy infrastructure. They are seeking a commercially focused Commercial Analyst to support project delivery, working closely with the Commercial Manager and finance team to ensure accurate reporting, analysis, and project planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide financial analytics and commercial advice on complex project variations, claims, and their impact on returns and contractual obligations.
* Partner with the Commercial Manager and collaborate with management accounting to ensure alignment of financial and commercial outcomes.
* Oversee and contribute to the project month‑end process, ensuring accuracy from a commercial perspective.
* Manage project budget planning and forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities to improve performance.
* Support the analysis of financial models to ensure project viability and alignment with key deliverables.
* Engage with key stakeholders, providing clear and strategic insights to guide project decisions.
About You
* A finance or accounting background (CPA / CA qualification ideal), with proven experience supporting complex construction projects.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate contracts, variations, and claims while delivering strategic advice.
* Experience working within project finance, management accounting, or commercial teams.
* Ability to analyze financial models and translate findings into actionable commercial insights.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial and commercial outcomes.
