This is the perfect role for an events management graduate or someone eager to get their foot in the door of the events and hospitality industry.
You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while learning from an experienced Sales & Events team.
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our Sales & Events team.
From the first client phone call to the finalised event documents, you'll make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
You'll play a pivotal role in enabling our sales function to grow, deliver, and create memorable experiences - every single week.
Support the Sales Team with admin, proposals, quotes, bookings, and client communications.
Manage incoming enquiries and schedule meetings, site inspections, and internal planning.
Maintain accurate event data in Momentus (Ungerboeck) and produce essential documentation (BEOs, menus, floor plans).
Assist with contracts, deposits, reporting, and internal communication.
Help prepare events by collating menus, client details, signage, and liaising with F&B and Operations teams.
Contribute to process improvements and uphold SAJC values across all teamwork.
What we're looking for:
A recent events management graduate or someone eager to get their foot in the door of the events and hospitality industry.
Experience in an administrative role — ideally within hospitality, events, or sales.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy (you love a tidy system and an error-free document).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or event management software (Momentus/Ungerboeck a bonus).
A polished, professional approach and genuine commitment to great customer service.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset.
