Job Description
The Credit Officer will be responsible for:
Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness to minimise financial risk.Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Prepare and distribute statements and invoices to clients.Liaise with internal departments and customers to address credit-related queries.Maintain accurate records of all credit activities and transactions.Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.Provide regular reports on credit performance and outstanding debts.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Credit Officer Should Have
A proven track record within a similar roleStrong knowledge of financial systems and processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in office-based software and financial tools.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to accuracy.
