Overview
We are looking for a full‐time Maintenance Officer to join our maintenance team at the Ballina facility. The role will support and manage the team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities to ensure the aged care home is always looking and operating at its very best.

Responsibilities
* Work as part of an agile team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
* Work to established best practice and maintain homes to the highest standard.
* Work in a busy team workplace with no day the same.
* Work alongside contractors where relevant, ensuring all work carried out to compliance requirements.
* Carry out general maintenance and repairs; this may include patching & painting, replacing globes and all aspects of basic building maintenance.
* Ensure all paperwork, documentation and system processes are adhered to.
Preferred Attributes
* Previous experience in a maintenance role, aged care preferable but not necessary.
* Strong problem‐solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* A current NSW driver's licence.
* Computer skills.
* Ability to interact with elderly residents on a day‐to‐day basis.
Qualifications
* Mandatory: Valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
