There is a role available for a caretaker of multiple short-term rental residences and a commercial storage facility.
This role requires a commitment of 15 hours per week and includes accomodation and utilities. It would be ideal for someone who is willing to live onsite. However, if you reside nearby and would prefer to live offsite, yearly salary will be higher. You will need to reside within close proximity of the property so that you can be present if required quickly.
Hourly rate: $50 per hour
Annual salary: $36000 per year.
Candidates must be capable of conducting minor repairs and maintenance, property inspections, guest services, and groundskeeping activities.
Resposibilities for this role includes:
* Management and maintenance of nine short term rental dwellings
o Advertising short term rentals
o Taking and managing rental bookings
o Basic computer skills are required for managing booking systems and administrative tasks.
o Greeting guests and introducing them to the property
o Cleaning properties between guest stays
* Management and maintenance of storage facilities
o Advertising of short term storage
o General upkeep and cleaning of storage (sweeping, rubbish pick up etc.)
o Customer service
o Administration (signing up new customers, communicating with current customers, sending appropriate documents and information to owners and accountant).
* Maintenance of property
o Light gardening
o Lawns (berms)
o Monitoring and management of off-grid power system (training will be provided)
* Any addtional duties will require mutual agreement between yourself and the owner.
