12-24 Month Fixed-Term Contract

**The Role**
As the Graduate Town Planner, you will be mentored and trained by Senior Town Planners in relation to Development Assessments, environmental planning and feasibility studies for the utilities infrastructure sector.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with planning review to determine planning and/or community issues that may impact the site
- Assist with environmental impact statements and feasibility reports
- Assisting with the lodgment of DA's
- Assisting members of the team with planning related matters
- Attend community meetings as required
- Escalate any community issues to relevant stakeholders
- Update records/databases as required
This is a Fixed Term Contract position, for 12-24 Months, paying $60k - $70k + super depending on exp. This is a great opportunity for graduate planner looking to develop their skills in statutory and environmental planning to join a national company who can facilitate their learning.
**The Organisation**
You will be working for a national utilities infrastructure company with head offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This position can be located from either NSW, VIC or QLD, and will be 2-3 days a week in the office to collaborate with the team. This organisation is experiencing a strong period of growth, with a secure pipeline of works.
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or similar
- Experience as a Student/Intern planner desirable
- Knowledge of Planning legislation in either NSW, VIC or QLD
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to self motivate and work autonomously
