What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Listen, really listen: speak with customers who are overwhelmed or vulnerable and give them space to be heard, because customer obsession starts with understanding.
- Be a calm, steady guide: walk customers through what’s covered in their policy, what will happen next, and make the complex feel simple.
- Balance heart with policy: make fair, transparent decisions that respect both the customer’s situation and guidelines.
- Keep things moving: manage your own portfolio of claims end-to-end, make timely decisions, and keep processes moving, especially during busy times.
- Solve problems: think critically and creatively to find the best path forward when things don’t go to plan.
- Stay on top of detail: document everything accurately to stay accountable and ensure customers feel confident in the process.
- Lean on your team: work with a supportive group, debrief, check in, and keep things human.
