Finance Business Partner – 3-Month Contract

Randstad Senior Finance is proud to be partnering with a leading service provider in the South Yarra area to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a 3-month contract (with view to extention for the right individual).
This role sits within a high-performing Finance team and plays a critical role in driving performance through financial planning, insightful analysis, and commercial decision support.
The Role:
This hands-on role will see you collaborate closely with operational leaders to deliver actionable financial insights and support strategic decision-making. You’ll bring your analytical mindset and commercial acumen to budgeting, forecasting, dashboard reporting, and financial modelling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- End-to-end budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across business units.
- Deliver variance analysis and identify key drivers of business performance.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports.
- Present financial and operational insights to senior stakeholders.
- Support month-end/year-end close processes and contribute to contract optimisation projects.
- Identify and implement improvements across reporting systems and financial processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong financial modelling and business partnering skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Confident communicator and presenter with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python is highly desirable.
- Bonus points for experience in the service industries.
