Casual Program Facilitator Role at Blue Light Victoria

Blue Light Victoria is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Casual Facilitators. This role involves delivering a variety of engaging programs to school students across Victoria, aimed at promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive community environment.
About us
Established in 1976 by Victoria Police, we are a not-for-profit organisation – you might remember us from a 'Blue Light Disco'
Last year we delivered 126 in-school programs to more than 14,800 young people, working with over 615 Victoria Police, Emergency services, and other community partners. We have a rich volunteer network of more than 220 volunteers, and we now deliver programs at locations all over Victoria from Bairnsdale to Coburg to Portland to Yea.
About the role
This role is a fantastic opportunity for those who are dedicated to the personal growth of young people, acting as ambassadors of BLV. You will have the opportunity to create a positive impact in the community and influence the lives of young people.
With a competitive casual hourly rate, shifts are generally 3 hours (minimum) within school hours.
Training and professional development is provided. Induction and Program Training Date set for 27th June 2025.
You will..
Facilitate and deliver a range of programs designed for school students.
Engage students in activities that promote social skills, community involvement, and personal development.
Prepare session materials and ensure all activities are conducted safely and effectively.
Work collaboratively with school staff and Blue Light Victoria team members to tailor programs to specific group needs.
About you..
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young people.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to youth development.
Experience in teaching, youth work, or a similar facilitator role.
Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
Must pass a national police check conducted by BLV.
