Job Title: Therapeutic Youth Support Worker
This role supports young people who have transitioned out of residential care or are at risk of entering it by providing personalized flexible support in home-based kinship or independent living arrangements.
The successful candidate will work to support each young person's emotional wellbeing daily routines and personal development attending appointments engaging in activities or helping build life skills they will play a vital role in their journey.
Maintaining clear communication and records the worker will work therapeutically with families and carers to help young people achieve their goals.

Requirements
* A valid and current driver's licence.
* A valid and current Workers with Children's Check.
* A valid and current NDIS Workers Screeners Check.
* A satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* A Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention Residential and Out-of-Home Care or a relevant qualification accompanied by the relevant skill set.
* Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children young people and their families.
