About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our valued clients in the Riverina and Wagga areas.
As a Home Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families. You will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. You will also have the opportunity to engage with clients in various social and recreational activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
* Assisting clients with daily errands and companionship
* Supporting clients with academic, social or recreational activities
* Preparing food and feeding clients
* Administering medications (as required)
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Comprehensive car insurance
* National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
* NSW Working with Children Check
* Driver's Licence
* First Aid Certification (valid within the last 12 months)

Work Environment:
Our clients reside in private homes in the Riverina and Wagga areas. As a Home Care Assistant, you will be required to travel to client homes to provide care and support.
