Job Description
Mechanical Engineering Technician At The Trustee for Righetti Family Trust, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to work on a full-time basis (at least 38 hours per week).
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to mechanical engineers during the development, testing, and improvement of mechanical equipment, machinery, and production systems.
* Assist in the preparation and review of engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation related to mechanical installations and manufacturing equipment.
* Participate in the inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to verify proper operation and compliance with design specifications.
* Collect and analyse operational data from mechanical equipment to assist engineers in evaluating system performance and identifying potential improvements.
* Support the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical components used in industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Assist in identifying mechanical faults and operational issues, contributing to troubleshooting processes and the implementation of corrective actions.
* Maintain technical records, equipment logs, and maintenance documentation related to mechanical installations, machinery, and engineering activities.
* Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and production personnel to ensure the efficient operation and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment.
* Ensure that mechanical work activities are carried out in accordance with technical standards, operational procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
* Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
* At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet project deadlines, and manage multiple technical assignments efficiently.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to assist in identifying mechanical faults and supporting maintenance or improvement activities.
* Positive, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety standards, technical accuracy, and quality workmanship.

Position: Full Time Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 Location: 13 Learoyd Street, Mount Lawley, WA 6050
