About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver civil roadwork projects from start to finish while ensuring compliance, quality, budget, and safety objectives are achieved.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director, some of your responsibilities will include:
Estimating project costs and managing budgets, procurement, and subcontractors.
Coordinating personnel, machinery, and materials to ensure smooth project delivery.
Reviewing engineering roadworks designs and resolving technical challenges on-site.
Ensuring compliance with TMR, council specs, environmental, and safety regulations.
Acting as the key liaison with councils, TMR, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Developing and managing project schedules in line with milestones (e.g., earthworks, pavement construction, surfacing).
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
Relevant engineering qualifications (civil or construction preferred).
Experience managing roadwork projects, preferably in rural/regional locations.
Ability to interpret and work with technical plans and make on-the-fly adjustments.
Strong understanding of civil construction standards, including TMR and council specifications.
