Wills and Estates Assistant Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled legal assistant to support the day-to-day running of our Wills and Estates practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance on all estate-related matters, including preparation of wills and estate planning documents, simple and complex estate administration, will disputes, and contested estate family provision applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients and third parties
* Diary management
* General file management
* Drafting estate planning and estate administration documents and correspondence
* Witnessing wills and other estate planning documents
* Providing secretarial and administrative support
Requirements:
* A friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills
* Well-presented with a good work ethic
* Strong administrative skills, including fast and accurate typing
* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Previous experience working in a legal or professional office environment is preferred
* Experience with LEAP and PEXA is also desirable
