We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our specialist cardiology clinic in Bruce. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is welcoming and seamless. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments, handling phone calls and emails, and providing essential administrative support to our clinical team. Our clinic fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment where you can thrive and grow.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner
* Process payments and invoices
* Answer phone, email, and fax enquiries promptly
* Scheduling patient appointments
* Manage patient referrals and records
* Support doctors, sonographers and allied health staff members as required
* Organise and distribute clinic correspondence
Skills & Experience
* Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency with medical billing and medical software such as Gentu
* High attention to detail and confidentiality
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
