The Role
This role is pivotal in shaping how we lead, plan, and deliver change within TasWater, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and uplifting organisational capability.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the planning, development and implementation of TasWater’s enterprise-wide change model, standards, and methodologies.
Chairing the Change Planning Committee to guide prioritisation and deployment of change initiatives.
Maintaining a forward view of Enterprise change capacity and associated forward pipeline.
Coaching senior leaders and stakeholders to build change capability to support and influence adoption across the business.
Designing and executing tailored communication and training strategies to support change readiness.
Anticipating and managing resistance to change while maintaining composure and focus under pressure.
Building a sustainable change mindset across the organisation through capability uplift and integration into enterprise frameworks.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a resilient and influential change leader who thrives in planning within complexity and brings both strategic insight and a “get stuff done” attitude. You’ll be someone who can remain calm when the waters are not, persist through ambiguity, and inspire confidence at all levels of the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certification as a Change Practitioner (e.g. PROSCI, CMI) and experience deploying hybrid change methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level change leadership, ideally within an EPMO or performance improvement context.
Strong stakeholder engagement and senior leadership coaching skills, with the charisma and courage to challenge the status quo.
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A deep understanding of project and program management methodologies and EPMO frameworks.
A track record of delivering results through influence, collaboration, and strategic execution.
