Business Operations Coordinator
The Department of Customer Service requires a Business Operations Coordinator to work in the Business Management area. This role will work closely with the Manager Business Management to provide business operations, including governance, risk management, contract management and procurement.
About this role:
The successful candidate will deliver quality administrative services, negotiate workable timeframes, and provide guidance on contract management best practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Review briefing note structure and style, provide support to team members
* Guide staff on contract management procedures
* Coordinate delivery of business, administrative and support services
* Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues
* Coach staff on policies, procedures and business systems
* Provide guidance and support to teams on procurement, contracts and financial management practices
* Establish customer relationships, develop collaborative networks
* Develop and implement office systems, procedures, adapting processes as required
* Coordinate DCS/Workplace Services response to NSW Government reporting obligations
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Demonstrated ability to provide clear advice and guidance on briefing note preparation and contract management
* Ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
* Self-motivated attitude with high initiative
* Excellent administration skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems used in NSW Government
* Demonstrated prior experience in providing business and administrative support services
* Strong understanding of corporate governance issues, including procurement policies and practices
