* Identifying opportunities for innovative design solutions and continuous improvement.
* Working with vendors, suppliers, and fabricators to address QA requirements, inspections, and factory acceptance testing.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Australian citizenship/residency.
* Tertiary qualification/s in Mechanical Engineering.
* A minimum of 2 years relevant Australian post‐grad experience, preferably in the design of mineral processing or smelting equipment.
* Be eligible to apply for Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status in the next 2 – 3 years.

* The ability to deliver scheduled tasks efficiently and work proactively within a small team environment.
* A willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
* Experience in plant design, particularly involving hydraulic and slurry system design, would be advantageous.

Why you should choose us:

* External Education Assistance Program
* GT's Cultural Program (2‐day, Glencore Technology only, course that aims to share our culture as quickly as possible and focuses on promoting effective communication)
* Health providers offering corporate discounts
* Glencore Rewards Program (discounts at many popular stores)
* Hybrid working arrangements
