Logistics Engineer Position
As a skilled Logistics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the Hunter Class Frigate project.
The Hunter Class Frigate is one of the most advanced warships in the world, featuring cutting-edge technology and capabilities. As Australia's largest shipbuilding project, HCF provides the foundation for Continuous Naval Shipbuilding in Australia.
We are working with experts from the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe to provide six frigates optimised for anti-submarine warfare to the Royal Australian Navy.
The frigates are being constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia, utilising the latest production technologies.
Key aspects of this position include:
* Performing and achieving complex logistics tasks.
* Providing specialist and administrative support to the Logistic Engineer Manager and Logistic Director.
* Exercising knowledge of legislative frameworks and Defence's mission and policy.
* Development and review of Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Contractor Logistics Plans including logistic support analysis (LSA).
* Review of Contract Deliverables i.e. contract data requirements list (CDRLs).
* Monitoring and actioning the Logistic mailbox.
* Drafting correspondence to internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Logistic Director.
* Building and sustaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to SEA5000.
* Completing any ad hoc tasks as they arise to assist the SEA5000 Integrated Logistics Team (ILS) team.
