Role
The Role: Elevate the Experience
We are seeking an exceptional and energetic Kitchen Hand to join our back-of-house team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in high standards, and enjoys keeping the operation running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head Chef and supervise the kitchen hand team in the day-to-day operation.
* Dish Preparation: Assist with basic food prep and support service as needed, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
* Dishwashing & turnaround: Manage dishwashing flow, maintain and set up equipment, and keep the kitchen turning over during busy periods.
* Venue Standards: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation.
* Team Collaboration: Support training and mentoring of Junior staff, helping build a positive team culture.
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Experience: Proven kitchen hand experience in a busy kitchen, ideally a pub, restaurant or casual dining venue.
* Attributes: We require an experienced kitchen hand who can work well under pressure, is hands on and able to work in a fast paced environment, someone who enjoys a fun environment and is a positive leader with a 'can do' attitude!
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Food Handlers Certificate.
* Chemform Training Certificate.
* A willingness to work early morning shifts.
