We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive to join our Category Development - Business Engagement team in Mulgrave, VIC!
Responsibilities
- Brand Management
- Communicate with suppliers in relation to new business development and new product development
- Develop and prepare and implement briefs for new product launches and trade activations, materials, store samplings and events
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to implement sales and trade promotions and activations
- Product Facilitation
- Request quotations from suppliers and collect necessary product information and certificates for new and existing products under the Business Engagement Division
- Communicate with suppliers for all queries related to compliance checks and brand management
- Work with Sales, Marketing, QA, Legal, Accounts, Procurements and Logistics to prepare necessary documents for new product facilitation
- Work with Sales on purchase and trade related activities
- Support regular business reviews
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Review purchase orders received from customers
To be successful you will need
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Chinese products and the Chinese market
- Strong computer skills in all Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Can-do attitude and ability to prioritise
- A degree related to marketing and QA will be considered an advantage
