Solutions Architect (Solventum)
This role partners with healthcare professionals to design, implement, and secure deployment architectures across on‐premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
* Define and document deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid). Design system architecture including data flow, security zones, and scalability.
* Lead discussions around VPN connectivity, AWS PrivateLink, firewall rules, and network segmentation. Collaborate with client IT teams on secure access, authentication, and encryption.
* Design and implement IDP integrations (SAML, OAuth, Azure AD) and ensure role‐based access control and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Serve as a technical lead during pre‐sales, implementation, and post‐deployment phases. Provide guidance to implementation consultants and engineers on deployment best practices.
* Work directly with client architects, IT leadership, and security teams. Translate business and clinical requirements into technical architecture.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or similar AND 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
* 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
* 3+ years of familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, coding workflows, and EHR systems.
* 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
* 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), VPNs, and identity providers.
Additional Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
* Three (3) years of implementing software solutions in a private, public, government or military environment.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare compliance standards.
* Deep understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
* Attention to detail, strong presentation and training skills.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to balance technical depth with business context.
* Ability to manage multiple interface projects and meet deadlines.
Location & Travel
* Work location: Remote.
* Travel: May include up to 20% domestic.
