Velocity Accommodation Group are looking for passionate Chef to become a part of our team in Karratha at Velocity Motel & Bistro. Working 2:1 roster with FIFO from Perth or live in options available. All meals & accommodation is paid for whilst on site.
Responsibilities
Ensure efficient food prep and meal services
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and combi ovens.
Participate in the implementation and management of the Food Safety Program
Clean, sanitise and maintain cooking utensils, equipment and food preparation areas
Participate in regular stock take and inventory control activities
Document cleaning schedules, incoming goods, food holding units and temperature probes
Proven history of producing quality food
Proven ability to develop interesting and varied menus
You are a professional with excellent communication skills who can work collaboratively with the Head Chef and company Directors to achieve our company vision.
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 years' experience in large commercial kitchens
Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
