Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail RMS Consultant to join our client's IT transformation journey.
The consultant will play a critical role in the implementation, upgrade, integration, and ongoing support of the Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS). This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead or contribute to end-to-end RMS implementations and upgrades.
* Work with business and technical teams to define and deliver RMS configurations and customizations.
* Collaborate on the design, development, and deployment of RMS integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., SIM, RPM, ReSA, Oracle Fusion).
* Perform functional analysis, data mapping, and gap assessments.
* Deliver post-go-live support, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer.
* Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Prepare functional specifications and documentation as required.
* Support change management, training, and user adoption activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail RMS
* Experience with RMS implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.
* Strong understanding of Oracle Retail architecture and modules: RMS, SIM, RPM, ReSA, etc.
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and solutions.
* Experience with Oracle Retail Data Model, PL/SQL, and Oracle Integration tools is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Prior experience in hybrid/onsite-offshore delivery models preferred.
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to Oracle Retail Cloud or SaaS Retail suites.
* Familiarity with Agile project methodology.
