**KSC 1**:

- Demonstrated capacity to supervise, coordinate and manage, under general direction, the College¿s Computer network and related Information Technology functions within the school.

**KSC 2**.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and supervise other ES/Trainee staff and to develop procedures and guidelines relating to the Information Technology area.

**KSC 3
- **Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills and the qualifications and or technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.

**KSC 4
- **Demonstrated capacity to provide high level advice and support to Principal, teachers, school community and external providers on Computer network and e-learning matters.

**KSC 5
- **Demonstrate a commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and other ES staff including the capacity to develop professional and performance plans.

**Role**:
Manage a team of IT support personnel to ensure the reliable operation of the College network.

Manage a high level of support to students to ensure their continued access to online learning.

Manage a high level of support to teachers for the delivery of innovative ICT curriculum and learning programs in middle and senior

VELs, VCE, VCAL and VET.
- Managing the College¿s Specialist Technician in relation to the curriculum network.
- Overseeing the work of the Computer Maintenance Technicians within the College.
- Overseeing the installation of hardware and software onto the College¿s network
- Ensuring new staff are familiar with the operation of the College computer system.
- In conjunction with the eLearning Committee, regulate and monitor the use of the computing facilities within the College.

An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employees position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the College¿s Computer Faculty.
- Acting as the College¿s systems analyst for Information Systems within the College.
- Under the auspices the ICT Committee, manage the Computer Equipment Replacement, Computer Maintenance budgets.
- Liaising with DE on all ICT matters e.g. laptop rollovers, on line exams and edumail
- Representing the College in matters relating to computers and computer education.
- Membership of the ICT Committee with specific responsibility for organising meetings and agenda.
- Keeping abreast of current trends and recommending new directions where appropriate.
- Coordinating the use of computing equipment outside college hours.
- Acting as the College's systems analyst for administrative computing.
- Manage the College¿s Internet Facilities
- The purchase, security, and maintenance of records, of all hardware/software.
- Advising the ICT Committee of sources of funds for equipment purchase.
- Coordinating the use of computing equipment outside college hours.
- Initiating, assisting with, and helping coordinate, professional development and training for staff in the computing area.
- Implementing the eLearning Policy.
- Liaising with various College committees on relevant ICT matters.
- Assisting the Assistant Principal to further develop Staff ICT skills through Professional Development programs
- Oversee and implement the ICT Policy and User Agreement as per DET published guidelines.
