About the role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities specific to the current decommissioning scope. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials and equipment between Dampier and Karratha, while maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and regulatory requirements.

Location: Karratha, WA

Specific Responsibilities

* Manage logistics operations related to decommissioning activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and safety standards.
* Coordinate transport and movement of materials, equipment, and containers between sites, ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and load restraint guidelines.
* Oversee third-party logistics providers and contractors executing scopes of work within the decommissioning project.
* Ensure all equipment used in decommissioning logistics is serviceable; report and escalate defects promptly.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records for all logistics activities, including compliance with regulatory and company standards.
* Ensure quarantine compliance and safe handling of dangerous goods in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
* Support material management processes related to decommissioning, including coordination of requests and stakeholder communication.
* Monitor and report on KPIs for logistics performance within the decommissioning scope.
* Maintain strict compliance with quarantine protocols and regulatory obligations.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with all quarantine regulations and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics coordination, preferably within decommissioning or oil & gas projects.
* Strong knowledge of CoR, load restraint, and dangerous goods handling.
* Computer literacy (MS Office Suite);
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods certifications (Road, Air & Sea).
* Forklift licences desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
