**_ About the role_**
As Assistant Treasurer, you'll play a key role in managing our $2 billion debt portfolio and supporting strategic growth initiatives in renewables and energy storage including onshore windfarms, batteries, pumped hydro generation and offshore windfarms. You'll also contribute to our broader capital management strategy and provide leadership and guidance to the Treasury team.

**_ What you'll do_**
- Lead Project Financing and corporate debt transactions to help fund the significant pipeline of new energy assets that Alinta Energy is developing.
- Contribute to the overall capital management strategy.
- Mentor and develop the Treasury team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparts
- Ensure that effective and proactive communication and the right working practices is practiced and encouraged within the Treasury team
**_Your experience _**
- Considerable experience in a either a corporate Treasury environment, banking or debt/finance advisory, including involvement in debt transactions, debt compliance and credit rating maintenance
- Experience with Project Financing transactions
- Ability to work in a fluid environment and without defined structures
- Ability to maintain credibility and professionalism under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy, able to plan and organise workload effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a consistently high quality of work.
