Join an exciting, growing business that provides life changing services Disability Employment Services Team Leader6 month Fixed Term Contract (with a possible extension) Based in Port MacquarieThe Team Leader provides leadership and guidance and is primarily responsible for the performance of the team.
This position requires effective leadership skills and a positive, proactive and forward-thinking approach to achieving financial, contractual and team KPIs.
It also involves developing productive partnerships and community networks with stakeholders and employers.
There will also be times where this position will need to be hands-on assisting case managers in attending to client appointments.About the role....
Provide effective leadership and promote a positive team culture Lead the team to achieve targets Work collaboratively with key stakeholders including employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), community organisations, NDIS providers, ADE's and social enterprises.
Identify key employers, develop employment opportunities, and continually build new and existing relationships that result in vacancy referrals and work commencement of participants Ensure contractual compliance to relevant deeds, policy and legislation.
Provide case management support to consultants.
Provide timely and accurate data and reports when required Manage complaints and feedback at a local level, whilst escalating or informing management as appropriate Complete administrative and compliance tasks in a timely manner About you.....We require someone with: Strategic leadership skills with hands-on people management experience Excellent interpersonal skills & customer service skills Have experience in developing productive partnerships and community networks Have an understanding of working with people with a disability and be able to confidently provide education to employers on disability inclusion in the workplace.
Demonstrated marketing and business development experience with the ability to succeed in a target-driven environment Ability to coach, motivate and develop others through formal and informal methods Confident negotiation skills & resilient in nature Strong administration and computer skills Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
