Skills and Experience needed
With a growing base of clients in Melbourne we would love to talk to lawyers with a current Practising Certificate (or ability to obtain one) who are interested in exploring opportunities to work with Ashurst clients or within one of the firm's Practice Groups.
With a diverse client base across a range of industries, we are able to offer a variety of interesting assignments.
Many roles are hybrid and we can work with you to find a role that suits you in terms of number of days/hours worked.
We regularly have opportunities for lawyers with excellent experience in the following areas:
Banking & Finance
Construction and Projects
Corporate/M&A
Dispute Resolution/Investigations
Energy/Resources/Utilities
Financial Services (Regulatory & Transactional)
General Commercial Contracts
Technology/Telecommunications/IP
As well as relevant legal experience you will need:
Strong commercial and business acumen
The ability to rapidly understand and adapt to the needs of the business
An excellent client service focus, ethic and commitment
The right to live and work in Australia (and be based here) and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate
Willingness to engage with Ashurst via an Independent Incorporated Legal Practice or casual employment
