About The Role
L3Harris Communication Systems is a world leader in ground tactical and airborne mission communication solutions and a global provider of ground‐based C4 systems and transportable SATCOM terminals. We are focused on delivering advanced systems to meet the needs of our customers, uniting multiple forms of communication together, and covering communication over air, ground, sea, and space. Based in Pinkenba, the L3Harris Regional Support Centre (RSC) is a dynamic logistics hub supporting L3Harris Defence Australia programmes through integrated logistics solutions. As part of the Supply Chain team, this role plays a key part in delivering logistics support across a range of L3Harris projects, standing offers, and services, focusing on the freight handling and distribution of communications equipment and associated accessories.
Responsibilities
* Liaise directly with customers, technicians, and vendors to provide logistics advice and coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
* Manage receipt, storage, and Oracle entry of repair parts from Rochester, ensuring accurate allocation to RMAs and tracking of serial and part numbers.
* Oversee packing, labeling, and freight bookings (FedEx/TNT), including creation of commercial invoices and compliance with ITAR/EAR and Trade regulations.
* Coordinate and monitor international shipments and RMAs with Rochester, USA.
* Maintain records, conduct stocktakes, and manage documentation in Mercury and other registers.
* Support warehouse and tech inspection teams with repair logistics and perform regular housekeeping and compliance checks.
Qualifications
* Current Australian NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum.
* Understanding of Defence warehousing and supply chain management.
* Well‐developed written and oral communication skills (able to converse with internal/external customers).
* Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, ensuring area is always safe.
* Competent computer skills/knowledge (Excel, inventory systems).
