About the role Based in our Support Centre in Petersham NSW, and reporting to our Head of Development, we are seeking an experienced Leasing Administrator with a minimum of 5 years' experience in lease administration, particularly with large landlords and retailers to support our Leasing team, In addition to: Building rapport with landlord lease administration managers, internal and external legal teams, and ensuring strict timeframes are met Overseeing and coordinating lease review process, lease approvals, lease clause negotiations and lease execution Administration and maintenance of electronic and hard copy filing systems for key legal documents and records Collecting information from landlords to assist the franchise sales team with arranging bank guarantees and insurance certificate of currency for Soul Origin tenancies Maintenance of a database of all insurances held by franchise partners to ensure compliance with lease obligations Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements for our Regional Leasing managers and Head of Development Updating and maintaining database of new and existing tenancies for integration with software systems (PowerBI etc.) Taking of meeting minutes and filing General administration duties What You’ll Need to Succeed: Proven experience as a lease administrator Proven experience negotiating lease clauses, and making legal recommendations to management High level understanding of legal documentations and identifying risks with specific leases and lease provisions Experience dealing with external solicitors Experience using Teams/Zoom suites Some exposure to retail, franchising or food service operations is advantageous Understanding of business administration principles and concepts Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent telephone manner High level of attention to detail Experience with Travel and calendar management Ability to provide high level general office support Ability to effectively communicate and align with stakeholders So… what’s in it for you?
