About our A&M Valuations Group The A&M Valuations Group ("Valuations") is comprised of former Big Four professionals who provide high-quality valuation services to clients. Our ambition is to have the best people, providing the highest quality services to the best clients. We are expanding our Business Valuations and Plant & Equipment valuations teams across Australia and are seeking experienced valuations professionals to join us. Our team works with clients across various sectors, supporting A&M's Transaction Advisory, Performance Improvement, and Tax practices. We provide valuations for purposes including tax, financial reporting, transactions, insurance, and commercial needs. Our services include valuations of unlisted assets for fund reporting, post-acquisition valuations, and independent expert reports. Position Details Assistant Manager / Executive - Expression of Interest Salary: $79,650 + Super + Bonus to $94,170 + Super + Bonus Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality valuation work. Support clients with a range of valuation requirements using technical and commercial acumen. Conduct valuation analysis, research, and report writing. Assist in business development activities, including proposals and market materials. Support the development of junior team members. Participate in client meetings, site inspections, and project management. Manage responsibilities proactively and collaborate internally. Handle multiple projects, including business development efforts. Develop valuation models and analyze key drivers, sensitivities, and scenarios. Analyze financial statements and forecasts, identifying trends, drivers, and risks. Prepare industry and benchmarking analyses. Assist with engagement issues such as billing and scope management. Demonstrate a desire for increased responsibility and a risk-aware approach. Qualifications Strong educational background in finance or related field. CA or CFA preferred; progress towards CPV accreditation is also valued. Big Four experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to travel within Australia. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with research tools like CapitalIQ for business valuations. Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus. At least 2 years valuation experience for Assistant Manager; at least 1 year for Executive. Top performer with strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-starter, and team player.
