Our Federal Client in a Top Secret Environment is seeking a Monitoring System Developer / Engineer. They will configure, test and install the IPMS (In-Place Monitoring System) under evaluation, providing detailed reports to the project management team so they can select and optimise the system put in place.
On selection of a preferred IPMS solution, the systems will be procured and installed. You will follow correct procurement procedures and lead the installation team.
Integration of the systems into corporate ICT infrastructure will require consultation with the relevant systems and networks teams. Effective stakeholder engagement is critical to ensure delivery of the complete package.
Provide BASIC training on all systems to relevant personnel.
Key Responsibilities
o Research and evaluate emerging IPMS capabilities.
o Evaluate IPMS systems, protocol analysers and ML/AI systems to determine the best solution for an IPMS system.
o Develop IPMS infrastructure and capabilities
o Deploy IPMS systems as required
o Analyse and report on data from IPMS systems.
o Integrate an IPMS system into corporate ICT infrastructure and security networks.
o Collaborate with Government agencies.
Required Knowledge/Experience and tools
o Experience in assessing, maintaining and managing IPMS capabilities for an Australian Government agency.
o Experience in the integration of an IPMS into ICT networks of an Australian Government agency.
o Intrinsic knowledge of the technical threat environment.
o Installation, configuration, and maintenance of security equipment and systems.
o Radio frequency engineering.
o Machine learning and AI.
