Milestone IT is partnering with a large enterprise organisation undergoing significant digital transformation, and we are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Cloud Integration Developer to join a high-performing integration team.
As an SAP BTP Cloud Integration Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems. You’ll work closely with architects, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality integration outcomes aligned with platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration)
* Build and maintain APIs using SAP API Management
* Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, IDocs, OData, XML, JSON, and event-driven patterns
* Implement data mappings, transformations, routing, exception handling, and logging
* Support hybrid and cloud-to-cloud integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms
* Participate in testing cycles, defect resolution, deployment, and go-live activities
* Follow SDLC, change management, and CI/CD processes for integration delivery
* Produce clear technical documentation, interface specifications, and runbooks
* Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and vendors
* Contribute to continuous improvement of integration standards and frameworks
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP Integration development
* Strong experience with SAP Cloud Integration (iFlows, adapters, mappings, exception handling)
* Solid experience building REST and SOAP-based integrations
* Hands-on skills with XML, JSON, XSLT, and Groovy scripting
* Experience with SAP API Management and API lifecycle management
* Strong understanding of integration patterns, security (OAuth, certificates), and message processing
* Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP SaaS applications
* SAP BTP Integration Suite certification (preferred)
Desirable Experience
* Exposure to SAP Event Mesh
* Experience with transport automation for SAP BTP
* Background in complex enterprise environments (e.g. healthcare, retail, logistics)
* Strong awareness of cloud security, privacy, and compliance standards
